About Araku Valley

Araku Valley is a hill station in the Eastern Ghats, about 900 metres up, home to tribal communities and coffee plantations whose Araku coffee is now known worldwide.

The drive from Visakhapatnam passes the Borra Caves, the Ananthagiri coffee estates and the Galikonda viewpoint. In Araku, visitors see the tribal museum and coffee museum. October to February is the best time to visit, and the ghat road takes three to four hours from Vizag.
