Privacy notice

The fare card on our pages asks only for your trip: pickup, destination, date, time and car. It works out the fare in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to or stored on our servers.

As you type a pickup or drop, the letters you type are sent to Mapbox, a map service, to suggest matching places. When both places are chosen, their map positions are sent to Mapbox to measure the road distance and draw the route.

The location button on the pickup field uses your device’s position only when you press it and allow it in your browser. That position is sent to Mapbox to find the address, and is included in the WhatsApp message as a map link so the driver can find you. We do not store it.

When you press “Book on WhatsApp”, those trip details are placed in a WhatsApp message to us. They reach us only if you send that message. Sending it from your own WhatsApp account also shows us your phone number and WhatsApp name.

If you call or email us instead, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us about your trip.

• To reply to your enquiry with a vehicle and fare.
• To arrange and carry out the trip if you book it.
• To contact you about that trip.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages, buttons and fare card steps people use, so we can make the website easier to use.

It tells Google the pages you view, your device and browser, and roughly where you are (city or region). When you use the fare card or press a booking button, it also records the trip type, the towns you chose (never a street address), the road distance and the car.

It is never sent your name, phone number, email address or the WhatsApp message itself.

To tell one visit from the next, Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser. Their names begin with _ga and they last up to two years. Its advertising features are switched off on this website, and we use no advertising trackers.

You can turn it off by blocking cookies for this website in your browser, or with Google’s opt-out add-on. The website and the fare card work the same without it.

Messages you send on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Place search, road distances and the route map come from Mapbox under its privacy policy. Mapbox sees your internet address, as any website you visit does.

Visit statistics are processed by Google under Google’s privacy policy.
