What we offer
TravellerTaxi arranges taxis with a driver for trips across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry. You can travel one way, go and return with the same car, hire a car for the whole day from any city, take an hourly local package in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram or Tiruvallur, or follow one of our suggested tours.
- One-way drop taxi: A single journey from your pickup point to your destination city, with no return trip needed.
- Round trip: Travel to your destination and back, with the car staying with you for the length of the trip.
- Airport transfers: Pickups and drops between the airport and your home, hotel or office.
- Hourly rental: A car with driver for 4, 8 or 12 hours in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram or Tiruvallur.
- Per-day rental: A car with driver for the whole day, 250 km included, from any city we serve.
- Tour packages: Planned sightseeing trips with transport arranged for each stop along the way.
Where we operate
We serve 125 cities and towns: every district headquarters in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry, plus key pilgrimage, heritage and hill towns. Trips can run between any two of them, in either direction.
If your pickup or drop-off is outside these places, tell us in your enquiry and we will let you know whether we can take the trip.
Vehicles
We offer four cars: Sedan, Ertiga, Innova and Innova Crysta. Specific models vary, and the vehicle for your trip is confirmed when your booking is confirmed.
How booking and fares work
- Send us your trip details on WhatsApp or by phone.
- We reply with the vehicle and the fare, worked out from our published per-km rates, driver bata and any tolls or permits.
- Your trip is booked only once you accept. An enquiry on its own is not a booking.

Drivers and service standards
- Licensed drivers, permit cars
- Drivers hold a commercial driving licence, and every car is commercially registered with the permits its route needs.
- Air-conditioned cars
- Every car is air-conditioned.
- Driver details before pickup
- We send you the driver's name and phone number and the car's number before your trip.
- Fare breakdown on request
- At the end of the trip you can ask for the fare itemised: km, rate, driver bata, tolls and total.
Cancelling or changing a trip
You can cancel a booked trip at any time, free of charge. No advance payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund.
